You will be responsible for supporting plant leadership in achieving business and financial goals by developing and maintaining robust manufacturing processes and contributing continuous improvement / cost out initiatives across the organization.
Responsibility
- Responsible for the successful execution of projects related to New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Provides direction to project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope and risk assessment
- Ensuring standard program management processes are utilized and adequate to support the project execution and teams
- Coordinating project reviews, preparing and publishing program management metrics and reports whilst maintaining the metrics for the project
- Provides periodic project updates (Project Status Report) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g. technical, cost, and schedule)
- Responsibility for performing PROLaunch Stage Gate reviews
- Ensures ProLaunch process deployment and maturity regarding OpA
- Achieves industrialization activities with other sites (Pre-IF, IF, CP, AMDEC etc…)
- Manages industrial schedule, cost and quality of customized projects with support of project team
- Participates in concurrent engineering efforts, critical design reviews, Design for Manufacturing and value engineering initiatives as growth opportunities
- Assists management team in the composition of Capital Appropriation Requests for acquisition of equipment to support emerging and existing technologies, for new product introduction or continuous improvement, as required
- Ensure updates of design guidelines, to continuously improve quality and product/process robustness
- Participates on ELSS workshop
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Electrical or Industrial engineering field
- Advanced experience in a similar post.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
- Understanding of problem solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s)
- Ideally with knowledge of automotive industry (IATF).
- Expert in electronic manufacturing
- Ability and interest in navigating multicultural contexts
